WOODA Holiday Village in Bude has been highly commended in Towergate’s Great British Park Off 2016 competition.

The holiday park received the commendation after a panel of judges, including The Sun travel editor Lisa Minot, whittled down thousands of entries to a top ten that the public could vote on.

Wooda Holiday Village’s commendation was due to its large number of facilities available on the park, such as farm animals, tennis courts, tractor and trailer rides, indoor archery, as well as the stunning coast line from Bude to Trevose lighthouse.

Thousands of holiday parks from across the nation were entered into the competition, each vying to be crowned the winner of Towergate’s Great British Park Off 2016.

Mr Colwill, owner of Wooda Holiday Village, said: “I am really pleased that Wooda Holidays has been highly commended in the Towergate Great British Park Off. Wooda is a great place to escape to with the family or friends, an ideal base for touring Devon and Cornwall. I am glad to see it gets the recognition it deserves.”

Emma Watson from Towergate added: “Wooda Holidays is a fantastic park which came very close to achieving the top prize. It has unique facilities right by the coast, making this holiday park a lovely place to visit.”
