Sir, Could I please correct what appears to be a minor mis-quote of what I said in the Town Council last Tuesday? I did not say that owners of holiday lets would miss the pedestrianisation questionnaire deadline, as I am aware that PCC notified the various letting agencies, and I do not wish it to be thought that I was maligning them in this particular area. What I did refer to was holiday homes, of which there are several in my street and elsewhere in the walled town, which are used exclusively by the owners and their families and friends, very few of whom utilise them during February and early March. It is extremely unlikely that these people would have been aware of the survey, and so they missed out on the chance to voice their opinions.
