THE Hi-5 Talk Time Café, a group for parents and carers of children with additional needs, held its Winter Wonderland Christmas party recently at the Sensory Room in Bude.

After just one year of being open, the group has been steadily growing, and seven families regularly attend the weekly ‘pop-up’ café.

Volunteers are also increasing, and a group spokesman said: “We still have a lot more to do in finding those families we know are ‘slipping under the radar’, but it is a great start after only one year of being open!”

The café re-opens on January 9.
