Heavenly voices rang out at Kernow House as the community came together to celebrate Christmas with a carol concert by our Christmas trees and by candlelight.

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Kernow House care home, in Launceston got in the Christmas spirit by inviting the Mayor and Mayoress, Leighton and Gillian Penhale, Rev Mary Williamson and Bill Roberts to come and join in with a carol concert to sing some festive Christmas favourites. The singing was led by Ruth Dymond and Revd. Mary Williamson told the Christmas story.

There was mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas cake prepared by head chef, Dan Hill to get everyone feeling festive.

Peter, resident at Kernow House, said: “I love to sing Christmas carols and this was a very special afternoon. It really feels like Christmas.”
