A CHARITY cycling team stopped in Launceston recently and set off on the next leg of their journey from the Green House Café with a donation of healthy snacks to fuel their cycling marathon from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Linda Jackson, Mark Jackson, Sheena Yerbegh, Chris Fox, Paula Millard, Alison Anderson and Julia Woods began their trek at Land’s End on Saturday, August 25.

On the Tuesday they travelled to Tiverton and on Wednesday reunited with a further 13 members of the team in Weston-super-Mare.

Two of the team taking part have been diagnosed with serious conditions, prompting them to raise funds for NET Patient Foundation and Cure Parkinsons.
