PUPILS and staff at Whitstone Primary School participated in Comic Relief's Red Nose Day by coming to school dressed in red.

Urged to do something funny for money, Headteacher Paul Woolner raffled an opportunity for one of the pupils to shave the hair from his head. Zoe Bluett's ticket was drawn from the hat. Much to the relief of Mr Woolner, Zoe and all of the rest of the school community, his hair was only thing he lost.
