NOW in its second year, Bude Arts and Music, BAAM, a small not for profit group, have raised enough funds to host a mini Glasto-style festival on the grounds of The Castle, Bude, this weekend.

After the success of last year's event, BAAMFest 2015 is not to be missed.?There will be a weekend full of music, theatre, art, crafts, a beer tent, a global street food market and three nights of serious entertainment —the small not for profit group that are BAAM have worked hard putting it together.

One of the organisers, Anna Worthington, said: "We wanted to put on a festival that was affordable, accessible, with loads of amazing acts, right in the centre of town.

"We are so excited that after six months of preparation it's all coming together, and we've got some top entertainment coming to Bude.

"There's going to be a big top marquee, flags, bunting, bar, food market, craft market, and so much to see and do.

"In the daytime for only £2 you can come and listen to quality music, see the squashbox theatre, join in graffiti art, craft workshops, browse an eclectic handpicked mix of crafts, whilst in the evening the marquee is going to come alive as we bring in some amazing entertainment."

The weekend kicks off tomorrow (Friday) with a night of Latin inspired Afro-Cuban music, food fiesta and margarita bar and ends with Cornish comedian Kernow King on the Sunday night, set to raise the roof of the big top tent.
