A HATHERLEIGH man is taking an active approach to tackling mental health problems by riding 4,000 miles around mainland Britain.

On Monday, May 2, as the rest of the country take a bank holiday break, 51-year-old Graeme Willgress will set off on his 'Ride2Recovery' cycle tour, which could take around four months to complete.

He is raising money to support charity, Sustrans and its flagship project the National Cycle Network, which Graeme credits with helping to turn his life around following a breakdown in 2006.
