A TEENAGER has raised more than £1,500 by cycling from Barnstaple to Holsworthy for a charity close to his heart. Harrison Palmer, 14, cycles regularly along the Tarka Trail near Petrockstowe, where he lives. He decided to take on the 28-mile challenge to help his grandfather, Chris Axford, who suffers from hereditary lung condition emphysema, due to alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency. Mr Axford, who lives in Holsworthy, receives support from the British Lung Foundation, the charity, for which Harrison decided to raise money.
