Dear Editor
You have asked for comments about grass cutting. Irrespective of whether it is cut before or after the asset transfer, as per my letter last year 'What Wye, Where?' as important as cutting the grass is, the banks desperately need to be strimmed where it is possible to do so, to open up the view of the river – the most important aspect of the appearance of the riverbank for residents and visitors.
It would be excellent if the contractors could be instructed to strim everywhere they can safely.
David Callinan, Ross.
