PERMISSION for additional car parking for Holsworthy Livestock Market has been granted by Torridge District Council.
Kivells submitted the planning application for the additional overflow parking area for cars, vehicles and cattle lorries.
The site is owned by Torridge District Council.
The additional area, adjacent to the west of the agribusiness centre, is currently a rough, unused grassed area.
It covers an area of 9,995 square metres, providing for 150 car parking spaces and 40 larger spaces.
A new access into the car park will be created from the existing vehicular access, with a secondary access point at the top of the proposed car park.
