THE Lions Club of Launceston held a successful Christmas gift and craft fair at the White Hart on Saturday.

There were 22 tables with items of hand-made crafts, alpaca wool, wooden items, jewellery, cakes and locally made produce as well as Christmas gifts.

It was a busy morning, with visitors popping in after they had been skating in the square.

The Lions are hoping to repeat this again next year, to enable local people to promote their crafts.
