WEEK St Mary Church held its annual gift day recently.

There were a variety of activities available including climbing the church tower and a bouncy castle in the churchyard, which large numbers of visitors enjoyed throughout the day.

In the afternoon the ladies of the church served afternoon tea which was very popular.

The gift collection for the maintenance and work of the church is approaching £2,000 with money still coming in.

There was a separate collection made by the Friends of Week St Mary church and churchyard specifically for the maintenance of the graveyard.

One of the organisers, Lesley Booker said: “Grateful thanks go to all who worked so hard to make the day such a great success.”
