TINTAGEL Sea Angling Club held their annual presentation evening at the Wootons Hotel, Tintagel on Friday, February 27, and it was very well attended.
The Club was formed on March 12, 1979, by a group of local anglers that wanted to promote participation in the sport.
The club organises shore and boat competitions throughout the year with the opportunity to compete for over 20 trophies that are awarded at the annual presentation evening.
Chairman Garry Boyde assisted by secretary Nigel Rundle hosted this year's presentation and Garry started by recalling some memorable events during 2014.
The presentation concluded with thanks to Ian and Felicity Young for there hospitality and support to the club throughout the year.

As well as being able to enter competitions, members also benefit from discounted tackle supplies, public liability insurance and affiliation to the Cornish Federation of Sea Anglers and the Angling Trust.
Membership is £8.00 for seniors and £4.00 for juniors. Meetings are held from 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month at the Wootons Hotel, Tintagel. You are most welcome to come along and have a chat or if you prefer email [email protected]">[email protected] for further details.
