OVER 30,000 people visited the 80-year-old Sea Pool at Bude in North Cornwall this summer, which is now run by a local charity, the Friends of Bude Sea Pool.

On its busiest single day in 2012 the pool hosted over 500 visitors, who swam, splashed, played and lazed in and around the semi-natural tidal pool on Summerleaze Beach.

Local businesses recognise how important the sea pool is to Bude's hospitality industry. Bude Tandoori is generously hosting a charity fund-raising feast on Monday, January 7 in aid of the sea pool.
