The North Tamar Community Transport Association recently had confirmation that they will receive £10,000 over two years to help continue their Ring and Ride service. The Association's Big Lottery funding of £30,000 per year ended in October 2008. They have applied again to Big Lottery for funding and are expecting to hear the outcome in June/July. However, the Lloyds TSB Foundation have confirmed that they will provide £10,000 over two years. The Ring and Ride is a wheelchair accessible minibus which takes people from their homes for shopping and other trips.
