STAFF at Holsworthy Library were delighted to hold a ‘Fun Palaces’ event on Saturday, October 6, which saw many members of the public joining in a range of crafting activities.

Fun Palaces is an ‘ongoing campaign for culture at the heart of the community, and community at the heart of culture, with an annual weekend of action’. The events can include arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports event activities and are run by and for a local community.

This was the first time Holsworthy Library has hosted such an event and it included activities run by Westcountry Rivers Trust, Rag Rug Making and Willow Weaving.
