MORE than £1,100 was raised at a family fun dog show in aid of the Labrador Rescue Trust at Stoke Climsland.
John Titcomb, Labrador Rescue Trust deputy coordinator, Cornwall, expressed thanks on behalf of the trust to all the sponsors and volunteer helpers involved in the show, which took place on June 12 at the sports and social club ground.
Results: Best dog or bitch, under 18 months — Allum Cox with cocker spaniel, Storm. Best young handler — Alfred Wallace with chocolate Labrador, Boris. Musical sit — Carol Bennett with yellow Labrador, Rosie. Best little dog — Rosetta dos Santos with Chihuahua, Archie. Best biscuit catcher — Chris Porter with black Labrador, Shadow. Best pair of dogs — Rosie Neville with Pickle and Sox, a Bouvier and a Labradoodle. Waggiest tail — Megan Maybe with Inky, a Cocker Spaniel. Best Rescue — Lisa Chaffer with Greyhound, Ron. Dog most like its owner — Darren Guppy with Dogue de Bordeaux, Inca. Fastest Bonio eater — Amy Clark with chocolate Labrador, Coco. Best veteran — Nicola Humphreys with Labrador cross, Freddie 13yrs.
Most appealing eyes — Rosie Bosby with Cocker cross, Zeela. Dog judge would like to take home — Georgina Corbishley with Labrador, Cooper. Best non Labrador — Victoria Champion with Beagle, Alfie. Best Labrador — Danny and Sandy Hawley with Labrador, Dillon. Best in Show — Chris Porter with Labrador, Shadow; Reserve — Lisa Schaeffer with Greyhound, Ron.
