A GROUP of friends from Launceston and Bude travelled to Falmouth to take part in the 19th ‘Moonlight Memory Walk’, all walking in memory of loved ones.

Taking part were Maggie Brown, Rona Whiteway, Eileen Rendle, Lyn Barton, Katie Wickett and Tasha Cottle.

The memory ceremony started at 9.30pm each participant decorated a candle and these were placed around the walk. A talk was given by Eddie Farwell.

The walk started at 10pm and there was a fantastic atmosphere which all enjoyed the five mile walk was completed by all who entered £20,000 was raised in all 

The angel wings group pictured raised £400 all for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
