CHRISTMAS shoppers in Holsworthy can benefit from free parking on two dates in December, as part of a scheme being provided by Torridge District Council over the festive period.

In consultation with town councils, chamber of commerce and others, free parking days have been carefully chosen to coincide with key events in the local festive calendar. It will be an incentive for people to spend more time in town centres and will provide shoppers with additional opportunities to take advantage of the huge variety of Christmas gifts on offer.
