New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Cornwall’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Longstore And HarbourQ, at The Longstore, Charlestown Road, Charlestown, St Austell was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 5.

And Bunters Café & Restaurant, at Bunters, 15c East Street, Newquay, Cornwall was given a score of three on November 20.

It means that of Cornwall's 1,605 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 1,275 (79%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
