New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Cornwall’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Jazz Kitchen, at 15 The Strand Shopping Centre, The Strand, Bude, Cornwall was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 23.

And Sandymouth Holiday Park, at Sandymouth Bay Holiday Park, Kilkhampton, Bude, Cornwall was given a score of one on October 23.

It means that of Cornwall's 1,669 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 1,406 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
