Conservative candidate, Jesse Norman won the MP seat for Hereford and South Herefordshire, in the general election, with a landslide victory.
Mr Norman won the seat with 53% of the overall vote, with 24,844 constituents electing him as their representative. In second place, was Nigel Ely (UKIP) with 17%, Anna Coda (Labour) was in third place with 13%, In fourth place was Lucy Hurds (Liberal Democrat) with 11%, and Diana Toynbee (Green) was in fifth place with 7%.
The Conservatives have won an overall majority in this year's general election. They do not need to form a coalition.
