A Scout group in Holsworthy has become the first in the district to introduce a new section for children aged four and five.

The 1st Holsworthy Scout Group recently launched a new section called the Squirrel Scouts for four and five year olds, and local children couldn’t be happier.

Scout leader Pauline Masters said: “We are the first in our district to open a Squirrel Scout section and so far we have enjoyed stories, junk modelling and celebrated world animal day by making animal masks.”

The new Squirrel Scouts group meet on a Tuesday from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
