MEMBERS of the Launceston Branch of the Royal British Legion gathered at the War Memorial in the Square on Friday, October 26.

Rev David Michaels dedicated the Garden of Remembrance and laid the first poppy cross in honour of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Arrangements are well in hand for the annual parade and service of remembrance which will be held on Remembrance Sunday, November 11 at 11am in the Square.
