LAUNCESTON Fire Station held their annual charity car wash recently.
Held between 10am and 2pm, nearly £300 was raised for The Firefighters Charity, thanks to donations from over 50 members of the public who had their cars cleaned.
Firefighter Ryan Christophers said: “The day went well considering the weather. We had a steady flow of cars and raised £285 for The Firefighters Charity.
“It was set up to help firefighters with their well-being, the mental, physical and social burdens that can come from being a past or present member of the UK’s dedicated fire services, so they help to recover their lives when they need it most.”
