A FINAL thanksgiving service was held at St Nicholas Church, in Tresmeer, on Sunday, January 28, at which the Archdeacon of Bodmin, the Venerable Audrey Elkington, was present.

The service celebrated the work of the church over many centuries referred to by the Archdeacon in her sermon.

The parish will now be joined with the parish of Egloskerry, which will become the parish church of Tresmeer.

The church was beautifully decorated for the final service and refreshments were served by the ladies afterwards.
