Lights, cameras and action were all present for a television programme shot at Bude last week. ITV's Country Wise presenter Paul Hieney met some of the town's characters on his visit to film a feature about life on the North Cornish coast. Paul and the film crew met Margaret Frost, owner of the Rustic Tea Rooms at Northcott, where they tasted her famous cream teas and even went back the next day for more. They also met Ted Hambley, RNLI supervisor, and Julian Bolitho from Lily May's Fish shop whose fishing boat they went out on while he pulled his lobster pots. Ruth Gray, the producer for the programe said they had an 'incredible welcome from Bude'. The programme is due to be screened on ITV in a one-hour special in 2015.
