THE 1st Lifton Beavers were full of festive cheer on Saturday, December 11, when they got to go on the Santa Express train at Bodmin & Wenford Railway.

Jessica Chalk, 1st Lifton Beaver Scout Leader, said: “They had a wonderful time doing lots of festive things like going on an elf hunt and getting to see Santa himself.

“This was all made possible with the kind and generous donation given to us from Priority Fitness Gym’s Michael Charlwood.

“This donation enabled all Beavers to go and only costing them a few pennies. They all had a fabulous time and made lots of happy memories.”

Jessica added: “We also got to travel in style back, with our very own private hire bus from Go Cornwall bus company, which topped of our weekend.”
