A COUPLE from North Devon has extended thanks to people in Camelford who came to their aid during a personal tragedy recently.

John and Lee Goss, from Ilfracombe, were visiting Camelford on May 10 when their five-year-old German Shepherd, Nell, collapsed in Churchfield car park after suffering a heart attack.

Unfortunately Nell didn’t survive her illness, but Mr and Mrs Goss would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to those who assisted them during the difficult time.

They said: “We would like to thank all the kind people who came to our aid when our German Shepherd Nell collapsed and died in the car park at Camelford, especially Catherine Rowlinson, who took us to the vets, and waited to bring us back. Our heartfelt thanks to all and Penbode Vets.”
