AROUND 400 drivers took to Sutcombe Hill on Saturday, April 23 as part of the renowned London to Land's End 89th Trial.

The London to Land's End Trial is an annual event which has been running for a number of years as part of the Motor Cycling Club (MCC) which was founded in 1901.

It is a long distance liability trial which sees various types of vehicle — motor cycles; sidecars; three-wheeled cycle cars and cars of any capacity — tackle various road challenges including off road tracks such as Sutcombe Hill; Cutliffe Lane, Hartland and Crackington Haven.
