THE Bude Horticultural and Honey Society enjoyed hosting another successful show on Monday, August 29.

John Bartlett, President of the Society and a member since 1974, presented the prize winners with their trophies.

"It's been another challenging year with a very warm and dry spring followed by a non-descript summer," he said. "Even so we've had some excellent exhibits, including Bill Cleave's cucumbers which took best overall vegetable exhibit."
