WEBBERS Estate Agents, with branches across Cornwall, including Launceston, have entered a team for Children’s Hospice South West’s Rainbow Run, and are encouraging other estate agents and businesses to get involved.
The Rainbow Run is a sponsored run, which will take place at RAF St Mawgan on June 26, where participants will get showered in different coloured powder paint as they go through paint stations along the route.
With over 1,000 people signing up to take part already, those taking part can walk, jog or run the route.
Hannah Jeffery, the manager of Webbers Bodmin, said: “We are delighted to be taking part in this year’s Rainbow Run. We have a team of 16 ladies from Webbers taking part from both our Cornwall and Devon offices, and it would be great for other estate agents and local businesses to also put together teams to join us. It will be a fun day for such a worthy cause.”
This is the third year that the event has been held at RAF St Mawgan, raising £86,000 last year for Children’s Hospice South West, a charity which supports children with life limiting illnesses and their families at its Little Harbour hospice in St Austell.
Little Harbour focuses on creating special memories with families who have an uncertain future, and the Rainbow Run is a way that people can support the work of the hospice, while making some special, colourful memories of their own.

Registration costs £15 for adults and £10 for children aged five to fifteen; family of four tickets can sign up for £40. Everyone is encouraged to raise as much money as possible in sponsorship.
Places are limited, so it is encouraged to sign up for the event as soon as possible.
