Malcolm Stacey, secretary of Tenby Christian Aid, said: "The disaster in Nepal has brought home yet again how much poorer countries of the world need our help. But as well as Nepal's crisis, we mustn't forget that millions of families go short of food, many of them starving to death, every day."
He added "Christian Aid week is just a good way of trying to ease the world's miseries, which is exactly what God wants us to do."
