THE final Cornish Makers Market of the summer, hosted by Tre, Pol & Pen, marked another successful chapter in its ongoing commitment to bringing together the local community.
A spokesperson said: “A great success; the final summer market saw 24 new and returning local artisans showcasing a range of unique products, from intricate handmade jewellery to bespoke home décor - the market was a treasure trove of local talent and craftsmanship.”
The day was helped along by fresh food including Tre, Pol & Pen’s own stone-baked pizzas and traditional Cornish pasties.
There was live music from agricultural hip-hop star Corky, and the sunny weather made its glorious appearance. It was wonderful to see so many attendees — grandparents, parents, children, and their furry friends all taking advantage of Tre, Pol & Pen’s cornucopia of stalls and outdoor seating, turning the marketplace into a bustling hub of activity and ensuring the last Saturday of the summer holidays was an enjoyable one.
The spokesperson added: “As the curtains close on this year’s summer series, the team are looking forward to our Christmas market on Saturday, December 2. It promises to be another fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the best of what Cornwall’s artisans have to offer.”
