EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Ryan Hasson from Bude picked up an award for reserve female champion for his Berrichon Du Cher sheep at the show.

Ryan, who has experience showing, said his favourite show is Launceston’s, because he won a cup there last year. Asked why he enjoys competing, Ryan said: “I have fun!”

He will also be taking part in Launceston, Holsworthy and Woolsery Shows this year.
