MORE young readers have been presented with their Summer Reading Challenge certificate.

Andi Snook and Simon Yorke from Launceston Library visited Tregadillett Primary School and Windmill Academy last week to present certificates to those pupils who took part in the challenge.

Cornwall Libraries had their best results ever across the county with the number of children taking part.

Children who signed up were required to read six books over the summer, and they were rewarded with stickers, a medal and a certificate.

Launceston Library held many events over the six week school holidays to keep children engaged, and ended with a Lego party, balloons and biscuits.
