The teachers and staff at St Stephens Community Academy in Launceston wanted to share a message with the children at their school.

So they co-ordinated a collage of pictures featuring themselves holding a word that contributed to a message to the children:

‘Dear children and parents, we all miss you very much but you are always in our hearts. Take care, stay safe and know that St Stephens Community Academy and Pre-school are here for you. Embracing learning, inspiring ambition, celebrating individuality.’

In a message to the parents and children of the school, assistant head Amy Hooper said: “As a staff team we are in contact most days and share happy memories of our times together, things you’ve said or done that have made us laugh or made us realise how amazing you are.

“We know we will make many new memories with you in the future but until then we wanted you to know you are always in our thoughts and we hold a very special place for you in our hearts.”
