On a bright and sunny Easter Saturday, St. Mary's opened its doors to the first Easter Messy Church for children and parents.

Over 100 parents and children, local and visitors, came and enjoyed an array of activities together, not only independently at the tables, but also including cooking with Lindy, decorating the Easter tree with Sam and Hannah (which was then placed in the church for Easter Sunday).

Easter baskets were being made with Pam and bracelet and keyring making with Kerry, from the Bead Shop, were followed by other activities, outdoor fun games supervised by Fiona and William, and then pizza served by even more helpful parents.

The Easter message was given beautifully by Rev. Alex and Nan made sure the special Fairtrade Easter eggs were distributed to every child there, with thank you Divine boxes for the adult helpers.
