OBJECTION has been raised by town councillors to an application for two dwellings at Mill Lane, Camelford.
The application, submitted by Mrs J Collins, seeks outline planning permission for two new dwellings at The Strid, 16 Mill Lane.
Councillors discussed the application at their meeting on October 20.
Cllr Andy Shaw said: “I think it’s over-development of the site. There’s a potential of six extra cars there. It’s not safe, that junction.”
He proposed objection on the grounds of overdevelopment of the area, difficult access and poor visibility.
Cllr Shirley Goodman seconded and all councillors voted in favour.
The final decision will be made by Cornwall Council plans committee.
