BUDE-based 80s synthop duo Femme Fatale/yuzoo, who perform locally and all over the UK, had a surprise when they were contacted by the Amy Winehouse Foundation and were invited to perform alongside the biggest names in the tribute world.

Tribute acts included the likes of Amy Winehouse, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Queen, Adele, ABBA, The Beatles, Take That, Elton John and many more.

The event is held annually and raises money for the Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation and a tribute to Amy Winehouse, who sadly passed away in 2011.

The yuzoo part of the band is a tribute to Alison Moyet/yazoo.

The duo band members John and Lisa said: “It’s an honour and privilege to play for the foundation and to fly the flag for Cornwall at such a massive festival.”

The festival is due to take place next summer.
