A PORT Isaac fudge shop has raised £2,000 for Cornish charities by selling Doc Martin souvenirs.
The Buttermilk Confectionery Co. fudge shop, which doubles up as Mrs Tishell's pharmacy in ITV's Doc Martin, has been selling copies of an article featured in Australian magazine TV Week.
Mike Meakins of the Buttermilk Confectionery shop teamed up with his son-in-law Ben Broadhurst of Concorde Copiers to produce photocopies of the article, which he sells to tourists and Doc Martin fans as a souvenir for £2.
Each year for the past three years, the Buttermilk shop has sold 1,000 copies of the article, the profits from which are divided equally between the Port Isaac RNLI and the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
