DISABLED actors will take centre stage later this month as members of the Brecon based Theatr Wildcats perform.

The 20 strong members will perform their latest production 'Highs and Lows' at Theatr Brycheiniog on Friday June 27.

The play, which has been devised by the learning disabled and physically disabled actors, will focus on the high points and low points in the lives of the case members.

The group uses drama, music, movement and dance as a way to get their voices heard and meet weekly at the Brecon canal-side theatre to create and rehearse original pieces of performance.

So far the group has performed in venues across Powys including theatres, arts centres, a football club, a home for the elderly and even a church and have also performed twice at Brecon Fringe during the Brecon Jazz Festival as well as at Unity Festival in Cardiff.
