AS REPORTED in last week's 'Post,' Delilicious in Tintagel was certainly the place to be on Pancake Day! The charity event, held in aid of the Children's Hospice South West, was an overwhelming success and the support from locals and the surrounding area was incredibly touching. From the doors opening at 10am, the Delilicious team were inundated with requests for the tastiest pancakes and waffles Tintagel has ever seen. Chantale Rosse and her mum Betty, who used to own a pancake shop in the village some 20 years ago, created the most exquisite treats for a never ending stream of hungry customers wanting to show their support. Every penny made was donated to the hospice and this would not have been possible without the generosity of Dave and Brenda Williams, who offered their premises for the day.
