The Globe Hotel, Bude hosted a ten hour darts marathon in September in aid of the Cornwall Air Ambulance. The event was organised by Mike Venables with St Austell Brewery donating a barrel of lager. Sixteen players took part and their sponsorship was boosted by collection buckets, making the total raised £2,300. Also a cheque for £1,000 was presented by Kit Jordan to Dean and Shelley Davis for the Air Ambulance.
