A dare-devil dairy farmer from North Petherwin, Adam Paynter, is leaving the tranquillity of the Cornish countryside, for a day, to take part in an adrenalin pumping skydive. It is something Adam has always wanted to do and he will be jumping over Perranporth Airfield on Sunday, May 17 whilst raising funds for Cornwall Blind Association. Cornwall Blind Association is the only local charity which exists to improve the lives of visually impaired people living in Cornwall. The charity is independent of any national charities and relies on the generosity of local people and businesses for funding. "We are delighted that Adam is helping to contribute to vital services in his community," said Caradon Co-ordinator, Ali Noble. "Funds like these mean that those who are losing their sight can have vital home visits for low vision aids or benefits advice," she explained. You can sponsor Adam at http://www.justgiving.co.uk/adampaynter">www.justgiving.co.uk/adampaynter or drop into Gillard's Sweet Shop in Launceston.
