CLASSIC stories from the days of the all-girl boarding school come to Lydbrook this week.
Daisy Pulls It Off, a play by Denise Deegan, is to be performed by the Lydbrook Players at the village's Memorial Hall from Thursday, April 23, to Saturday, April 25.
Director Anthea Stait commented: "This is a wonderful comedy that obviously sprang from a love of the books Denise Deegan read as a girl.
"The cast and I have had so many laughs during rehearsals, but every line could have come straight from one of the classic girls school books, which were set in such innocent times."
