THROUGHOUT March Curves Ladies' Fitness Centre based at Harlequinns Leisure, Bude, ran a promotion in support of Bude Foodbank. Members new and existing were encouraged to bring along specific food items in support of the Foodbank community project, and the total donated amounted to a staggering 1,070 lbs. Owner of Curves, Lyn Adlam, said: "My team and I are really excited and overwhelmed by the generosity of the Curves members and the Bude Community." She would also like to say a big thank you to Morrisons who kindly allowed us to do a food collection; the Staff Association at Budehaven School who donated food at one of their meetings and Tony at Stratton Store who encouraged his customers to buy an extra food item to support us.
