THE Premier Tour de Yorkshire Challenge saw employees of Lifton’s Ambrosia Creamery take to their bikes to help Premier Foods raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Part of Premier Foods Aim Higher Charity Challenge 2015 the Tour de Yorkshire took place in September with workers from the creamery either cycling 115 miles of the 2014 Tour de France route or taking part in a 25-mile trek up the Nidder Valley through the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

So far the company has raised £5,423.81 and the total is still rising. It will go towards Premier Foods’ £35,000 target, which will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

Colleagues at Ambrosia expressed thanks to everyone for their donations.
