A SERIES of charity craft fairs kicked off in Boscastle on Saturday week.

The fairs are for crafters to show off their talents and raise money for local charities.

Currently, the two nominated causes are Precious Premies, which supplies blankets for premature babies, and Minster Church.

Organiser Julie Potter said: "Even with the weather as it was at the weekend, we still had crafters and locals alike, supporting this event and hope to go from strength to strength in the future. We are also still looking for more crafters."

More than £50 was raised at the event for the charities.

The next craft fair is a two-day event commencing March 22.
